The first Marananga Band Hall was built in 1938. This photo was taken just prior to its demolition in 1983 to make way for new, larger Band Hall

From the Minute Book, 20 Mar 1933 Crabbing Picnic to Pt Parham, the first of many

It was resolved by the full Band to go for a picnic at Port Parham. Mr Werner, whose lorry was hired, charges £3 for the trip but reduced it as a favor to the Band to £1/15/-. Mr Arnold has been deputed to get 5 gallons of beer from the Tanunda Club. Past members and friends invited.
Charges: 3/1 per man.
